Sadie, Colorado’s own accelerant detection dog (fire dog) and her handler, Colorado’s 2008 Police Officer of the Year, Jerry Means working for Safe Harbor Lab Rescue will be joining us this year to do public demonstrations and education on arson detection and how these dogs partner with us in everyday life. As there are only a limited number of these very rare and specially trained dogs in the entire country, we are very excited to welcome them!

Starbucks Coffee working for Angels With Paws will provide coffee and tea at this year’s event.

The Bagel Store working for Yorkie Rescue Colorado will provide sandwiches and lunch-type food at this year’s event.

Melissa Akins/3 Ferret Stitchery working for Ferret Dreams Rescue and Adoption. Items will include pet bedding, bookmarks, frames, wall quilts and more.

Maggie Albanese working for Colorado Greyhound Adoptions. This 9 year old fine artist’s items will include note cards and prints.

Angels With Paws is the rescue beneficiary of Lin Sweitzer and Starbucks Coffee this year.

Animal Rescue and Adoption Society (ARAS) will take shifts at a Bake Sale booth and the gift wrapping booth.

Canine Partners of the Rockies working for Canine Partners of the Rockies. Items will include pillows.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Rescue, Inc. is the rescue beneficiary of Cindy Heitkamp this year. 

Chihuahua and Small Dog Rescue working for Chihuahua and Small Dog Rescue. Items will include sock dogs, cameo items, dog snacks, dog clothes and jewelry. They are also Sylvia Goodman/Spiritually Inspired Creation’s rescue beneficiary this year.

Colorado Cocker Rescue working for Colorado Cocker Rescue. Items will include snoods, ornaments, decorated gift bags and painted flowerpots.

Community College of Denver Vet Tech Program working for Animal Rescue and Adoption Society (ARAS). will be running our low-cost micro-chipping booth this year and passing along information on holiday hazards for pets.

Kevin Cordtz/Cordtz Studios, Inc. working for All Setter Rescue will be doing caricatures of pets and their people for the weekend.

Denver Dumb Friends League will provide some of the Caroling entertainment.

Divine Feline working for Devine Feline. Items will include jewelry, catnip treats and knit cat toys. They are also Fred Eyer’s rescue beneficiary this year.

Edwards Foundation for Rescued Animals working for Edwards Foundation for Rescued Animals. Items will include misc. fiber crafts and they will be providing weaving and spinning demonstrations this year.

Kathlean Eldredge/Enchanted Creations working for Misha May Foundation. Items will include hand-knit, custom designed dog coats made of synthetic and wool fibers. Sizes will range from X-small to XX-large.

Kathryn Erbaugh/Doodleworks working for Colorado House Rabbit Society. Items will include jewelry made with sterling silver, semi-precious gemstones and natural materials such as shell, bone and swarovski crystals.

Every Creature Counts will be manning the Wish List Raffle on Saturday this year.

Hope House Inc. working for Hope House Inc. Denver’s only domestic violence shelter that welcomes family pets with their guests will sell items including fleece-tie blankets, jewelry and misc. crafts. They are also Ina Mulford/Big Dog Imaginings’ rescue beneficiary this year.

Horse Protection League working for Horse Protection League. Items will include book markers, their signature cookbook and more. They are also Susan Becker/Pet Portraits by Susan Becker’s rescue beneficiary this year.

Kristine Hughes/Kristines Creations working for Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies. Items will include machine-embroidered towels, receiving blankets, crib sheets and quilts.

Paulene Janes working for Rocky Mountain Alley Cat Alliance. Items will include refrigerator towels, animal and children’s pillowcases, pet beds, toys, and misc. crafts.

Ina Mulford/Big Dog Imaginings working for Hope House, Inc. Items will include unique photographic fine art of dogs. Each photograph is enhanced with texturing, layering and detailing of spontaneous imagery.
